When an issue disturbs or distracts many or all members of the society i.e. public, it becomes a social issue. In American society, social issues come from different phases. Among them, specific social issues like Education, Health Insurance, Illegal Immigration, crimes plays a prominent role. Though 12 years of education is a must, many states permit the students to discontinue. Regarding Health insurance, it is not applicable for part-time, self-employed and unemployed persons. Many people become bankrupt because of their medical bills. The most important issue is the crime. Being the most populated prison shows the increase in the crime rate.
